Η δουλειά του Βασίλη Σιββά είναι μια σπάνια εικόνα που συνθέτει την ταπεινότητα με μια επική προσέγκιση στη μοναξιά του τρόπου ζωής του συγχρονου ανθρώπου. Είναι ένας απόλυτος ζωγράφος, τα εργαλεία του οποίου δομούν ένα μοναδικό σύμπαν που περιλαμβάνει απο το παιδί μέχρι τον φόβο του θανάτου.
Ίσως αύριο να περάσει σ’ ένα τρισδιάστατο χώρο και να χρησιμοποιήσει κάτι πολύ διαφορετικό απο τα ίδια τα δικά του μέσα, κανείς δεν ξέρει. Αυτό που ξέρω σήμερα είναι οτι έχει ήδη καταφέρει να αποδείξει οτι η ‘‘καθαρή ζωγραφική’’ υπάρχει ακόμη και έχει τη δύναμη να εκφράσει την αγάπη των μικρών λεπτομεριών στη ζωή του ανθρώπου που προσπαθεί να επιβιώσει.
Ο Βασίλης είναι ένας σύγχρονος καλλιτέχνης, ο οποίος βγαίνει για το πιο ενδιαφέρον ταξιδι, μέσα κι έξω, και θα σφραγίσει την σύγχρονη ζωγραφική με τις ιδέες του.
Αυτός είναι ο Βασίλης Σιββάς.

He may tomorrow come out in a 3D space and uses something very different from his own media, nobody knows. But that I know today is that he already has succeeded in proving that “clear painting” still exist and has the power to express the love of the small details in the life of the person who is trying to survive.
Vasilis is a modern artist who is going away on the most interesting journey, inside and out, and he will stamp with his ideas modern painting.
